SYN:
What a terrible day for the pipes
to leak at the stately Norfleet Mansion! Mr. and Mrs. Norfleet are
moments from debuting their priceless Van Brocklin painting when water
trickles ominously from and indoor pipe. Luckily, the Day and Nite
Plumbers (Moe, Larry and Shemp) are on duty and arrive at the scene
in a flash. Still inexperienced with water, the three plumbers turn
drops into tidal waves, nearly drowning everyone in the house. But
there is a more serious problem: two cunning art thieves have made
off with the Van Brocklin. Proving that they are better crime fighters
than they are plumbers, the Stooges take full advantage of the mansion's
slippery conditions to apprehend the thieves and return the painting
- dry! - to the grateful but drenched Norfleets.
