SYN: The Stooges awake to an upset mother. She has just found out that their two-timing dad (played by Shemp Howard) has just divorced Ma for a young blonde golddigger named Daisy. Ma asks the boys to stop the marriage and they concoct a scheme to do just that. By dressing up young Shemp to look like his father, they figure they'll get into Daisy's Penthouse, foil the plans of Daisy and her lynchmen, and rescue Pa from making a terrible mistake. The task is far from easy, however, when the boys find themselves in a terrible predicament running for their lives from gangsters. The boys are chased by gansters Butch and Chopper onto Daisy's balcony and up a nearby flagpole. When the gansters let the flagpole fly, so do the Stooges...about 100 stories straight down. They land on the awning of the building bouncing safely to the sidewalk, and landing right on top of Pa. Wow! only in Stoogeland....They grab Pa, and head to the hills as their mission is accomplished.

Quick Hits:

- Speaking of Moe, Larry & Shemp climbing poles, did you know one of the more sought after collectible Stooge items is a Plaster (Street corner) Lamp post made in 1978 by Tuscany Studios? This highly-popular item featuring the boys climbing a lamp post. Unlike most of the collectible memorabilia produced during that time, Shemp was the third Stooge.

FN: A remake of Three Dumb Clucks (4/17/37), using stock footage.
