SYN: The Stooges are three sailors who press naval uniforms, including Admiral Taylor's special threads. Curly, out of fun, decides to put on the Admiral's uniform and pretend he's the Admiral. Moe and Larry pose as ship lieutenants, and get invited to Count Gerhol, a german spy's, house for a special get-together. The Count makes them steal submarine plans unknowingly, so he can sink the Navy's latest sub. The Count takes the Stooges on his mission, with Curly signalling the Navy flagship to rescue them. Curly saves the day, however, knocking the German spies unconcious with a lead pipe. When Admiral Taylor arrives on board the sub, Curly illustrates how he single-handedly wiped out the Germans, repeating his killer swing by clobbering the pipe on an aerial bomb, which explodes. As the smoke clears, the Stooges are seen dressed as angels. Curly glances back, remarking "Step on it! Look who's following us!" The Stooges turn around, see the Admiral (also in wings) flying away into the heavens.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know the 1937 Columbia film "Devil's Playground," provided the shots of the submarine landing on the ocean floor for this short?
