SYN: Moe, Larry and Curly are traveling salesmen for a winter clothing manufacturer, marketing their wares in Valeska, an earthquake region of the tropic isles. As guests at Singapore Joe's Palace Hotel, the boys are asked to pay up as the Hotel will be closing for the winter. They tell Joe that they are waiting on a telegram and Joe remembers their letter which arrived earlier that day. The Stooges who have asked for some more money from their employer are informed in the telegram that they won't receive another cent until they've gotten rid of their present wardrobe. The boys decide the quickest way to alleviate death by firing squad (a penalty in Valeska for those who fail to pay their debts) is to trick Singapore Joe, and make a run for it. Of course, the Stooges fail to escape and are taken to the Gen. LeGrande who will determine their fate. Rita, a beautiful lady who quickly takes a liking to Curly just about has them out of a jam when Curly's pet parrot says "Why don't you search them General?" LeGrande thinks this is a great idea and the guards find the telegram. The boys are mistaken for masterminding an uprising against President Ward Robey (Present wardrobe) and are arrested on suspicion of being spies. Rita, who still thinks they're all innocent shows up at their prison and helps them escape. They recover a battle map from General Casino's headquarters for Rita to repay her for saving them. When the boys deliver the chart, however, it was accidentally swapped for a rolled up beer calendar. The Stooges are once again spared execution when Rita saves the day by showing up with the real map.

Quick Hits:

- Curly openly flirts with co-star Carmen LaRoux (Rita) in this short, but later mentions his wife Elaine.
