SYN: The Stooges, having lost numerous acting jobs, decide to commit suicide by jumping off the roof of a 60-story skyscraper. Once on the roof, they meet three beautiful young actress' with the same aspirations (jumping to their deaths). At the last moment, however, the Stooges and the girls hear some wonderful piano music and discover an eccentric millionaire, Mr. Boyce, who's casting a new Broadway musical. He offers the boys and girls parts in his new show, which they accept, with the Stooges rehearsing an army medical exam sketch. Boyce is so impressed with all 6 of them, that he offers to double their salaries to keep them all, and promises to give them star billing in the musical. The party is on, and as the six new superstars begin to jump for joy with excitement at their newfound success. The generouse offer is cut short, however, when two attendants drive up and haul Boyce back to Dr. Dippy's Retreat Home for mentally ill patients. You can hear a pin drop before Moe and Larry take the stage sand bags and begin dropping them onto their heads as Curly beats his head against the wall in frustration. The boys are once again faced with shattered dreams. Hey, at least they got the goils!
