SYN: Our scene begins with a young lad asking the Stooges which one of them is his real father. The Stooges sit him down and begin to tell him the story of how he came about. The boys were working in their own Pawn Shop as pawn brokers when Butch McGee, President of Gashouse Protective Association, and his girlfriend, Molly came along (both gangsters) When the heat started getting too close and the gang decided to skip town, Molly concocted a scheme to make some quick cash pawning her 20 ct. diamond ring (her fake diamond ring). While showing the fake rock to Larry, the ring falls and the diamond busts into a million pieces before she can get the cash. She doesn't, however, fail to execute the second part of her plan to leave her sister's baby at the hockshop with Larry. (Who was watching shop while Moe and Curly are out to lunch). Moe and Curly return from lunch to find Larry entertaining the baby. After seeing a few of the perils of early fatherhood, the scene jumps back to the beginning with the lad again asking "So which one of you is my real father?" When the Stooge can't answer to the boy's satisfaction, he storms out mad. Moe and Curly immediately seize the opportunity to take Larry over their leg and punish him for getting them into the mess.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know that this film marked the Stooges film debut of Harold "Tiny" Brauer who was one of the few actors to have appeared with all four sets of Stooges in films.
