SYN: With World War I over, Sargeant MacGillicuddy wakes the Stooges and beats them up for sleeping through the entire war; they receive medals of valor for their wounds. After getting out of the service the Stooges find themselves on the streets looking for food. When they anger a patron in a nearby cafeteria, he tricks them into thinking they can go up and apply for a job in a nearby office building. Little do they know that they are re-enlisting in the Army. Ironically, they get assigned to the same troop with their old comrade, Sargeant MacGillicuddy, who's assigned to their regiment. The Stooges' first duty is to retrieve ammunition for target practice. During their absence, however, target practice is postponed because Admiral Hawkins' flagship is late in arriving. Unaware of the news, the Stooges fire the cannon and blow up the Admiral's flagship.
