SYN: The Stooges work for Miracle Detective Agency ("If We Solve Your Crime, It's a Miracle!") and are hired by a middle-aged millionaire to track down some racketeer's who've threatened his life. Upon arrival at Old man Goodrich's mansion, the boys are quickly seduced by a beautiful blonde who administers a near-lethal dose of poison to the amorous Shemp's drink. Moe and Larry revive Shemp and a spectacular chase ensues, culminating in a lights-out fight in which Shemp is the only one left standing.

Quick Hits:

- This was the last short film that contained any new footage featuring the threesome of Moe, Larry & Shemp.

WT: Nutty Newshounds / FN: Stock footage is heavily used from Who Done It? (3/3/49). The Stooges appear in a few new scenes, the most notable being that of them at their detective agency.
