SYN: Moe, Larry and Shemp are all doing their best to win over the heart of the same woman, Mabel. In an attempt to be the first of the three to propose, and win Mabel's hand in marriage, they all make separate visits to her house. Mabel, however, is no dummy. Seeing the opportunity to get three for the price of one, she plays along. When one Stooge arrives, Mabel offers them a home-baked slice of cake and quickly escorts them into a different room, then greets her next lover. Soon Moe and Larry are both disposed of, each of them in different bedrooms. Eventually, they both get curious as to what's taking Mabel so long and they peep out of their rooms bumping into each other in the hall. Shemp, meanwhile, is also proposing to the lovely Philly. The three soon find that each Stooge has been pulling a double-cross. This causes a fight resulting in all three getting knocked out. The lovely lady escapes with the goods from three fresh marriage proposals.

Quick Hits:

- In a very funny scene when Moe is beating up Larry, he takes the fireplace puffer and sticks it in Larry's mouth and begins to expand Larry's stomach with air and dirty soot. As Moe puts pressure on his stomach, he turns Larry into a human chimney.
