SYN: While in a newspaper's office, the Stooges learn that some very important atomic documents have been stolen. They decide to pose as reporters and investigate the matter. They soon find out that Bortch, their neighbor/foreign spy is in on the conspiracy and plans to take the documents back to his foreign land and expose American secrets to his government. The Stooges accompany him, and expose his plot and save the day.

Quick Hits:

- Did you know the Shemp double, Joe Palma, makes his final appearance in this short as a "third Stooge" of sorts. He is featured briefly in a latter scene in this episode.

- New footage included Moe and Larry's search for food (they mistakenly eat a wooden fish, then spew out sawdust a la their Coughing Up Feathers gag, which was first staged in Uncivil Warriors in 1935.
