SYN:
Hungry and looking for work, the
Stooges decide to steal a watermelon from a fruit truck. In an attempt
to dodge the cops, they end up taking refuge in the building for the
Canvas Back Duck Club where they weasel their way into jobs as salesmen
hired to sell memberships to the club. The Stooges somehow manage
to sell off every open membership amazing their two new bosses who
get a little concerned when they find out the memberships were sold
to the Chief of police and the Mayor. The day of the hunt, they are
visited by a passer-by who informs all of them that there hasn't been
a duck around the old lodge in years. The police chief, now a bit
concerned, warns the Stooges that they better come up with some ducks
or they'll spend the next few decades in the slammer. Moe and Larry
concoct a scheme to hold off the dogs while Curly goes out and drums
up some real ducks. Decoy ducks seem to hold the guest hunters until
(the Pied Piper) Curly returns followed by a whole flock of domestic
ducks. The hunting party begins, and everyone meets their limit, until
an irate farmer shows up to spoil the party, and claiming full payment
for his prize ducks. The police force and the mayor unload their rounds
on three more unexpecting targets...the Stooges, who dive behind a
row of bushes and land on the backs of three wild bulls who scurry
off into the sunset with our three duck salesmen.
