This hanging mobile is another promotional piece of the Stroh's Contest. The contest was promoted in stores selling Stroh's products (beer) and was used to attract attention to the Stroh's displays usually consisting of Thermos gas grills, and many, many cases of Stroh's beer. The promotional items that were sold consisted of BBQ aprons for $8.00 each, Stroh-A-Party can coolers (Sold in sets of 4) for $6.00 each, and Stroh-A-Party T-shirts sold for $5.00 each.
