These story behind these ugly little dolls is that they were put out into the market unlicensed. They were soon pulled from the shelves because they weren't licensed by Norman Maurer Productions. For this reason, finding these dolls in a full set it not that easy. As pitiful as they may look, they are sought after by many serious collectors because they will be worth a pretty penny in the future. In fact, right now, a full set in the condition shown above could cost you over $100.00. Yikes!
